For so much of my life I rejected my negative experiences. Anything that didn’t bring a positive feeling was suppressed or ignored, leaving me missing out on many aspects of myself and of life. But now, I’m learning to accept the softness and the sharp edges, along with the full spectrum of my emotional color space. Because every part of the human experience matters.
